Heart

Heart Bent was born on February 14, 1999.  She was given to a family in Sherman, Texas. Unfortunately, due to Heart's mouth malady, she was asked to leave that family. Fortunately for the Bent family who, at the time was searching for a Borzoi pet, Sherry at Shefaro connected us with the Sherman family.   We immediately bonded with Heart who became our family member in November, 11 months after Heart was born.

The Bent family is made up of Nancy, Steve and their two children, Morgan (14) and Kasey (8). Both girls birthdays are also in February (like Heart's!). Every February is a big monthly celebration of Birthdays!

Last November, Rocky Bent, a blue-heeler mix, was also rescued by the Bent family. Rocky was born in November. He was two November 2002. He is now Heart's companion, play mate (when she feels like it). Heart's always taking Rocky's chewies but Rocky prefers his squeaky toys anyway!
