Dontae
(Unfinished, lacking one major) Shefaro Fabiana's Dontae
Robin Owens, North Carolina
Dontae, while worthy, will never be a champion! Because of his owner, I have chosen to sell my show quality Borzoi to companion homes only! Dontae went home to North Carolina and so will never become a champion. Robin pulled him from his successful campaign lacking one three point major to finish. They didn't understand he could have been a champion and a couch potato, too. Robin did the same thing with the successful campaign of her bitch, Zoie. After all the time, effort and money that was put into Dontae's campaign in Wisconsin and Texas, Robin pulled him. A pity because Dontae's a great dog and was within one major of finishing.
This is how it all began. American Champion Shefaro Marino's Fabiana was OUTCROSSED to American Champion Bokhara Shefaro El Dorado. The result was a litter of puppies all looking exactly like generations of Shefaro Borzoi before them, unrelated except for Shefaro. Pups were born November 12, 2001, four boys, three girls. They range in color from almost all white to white/red and white/mahogany.

Dontae showing at Houston July 2003. Maximus is in front of him. They are litter brothers.
Dontae went home to North Carolina unfinished and so will never become a champion. Robin pulled him from his successful campaign lacking one three point major to finish because her daughter, Emily, wanted her pet dog home.
